Enhanced Testing Capability Unveiled at Coventry Facilities

In a strategic move to further bolster their testing capabilities, Savery Hydraulics proudly announces the installation of an Inverter Drive within their Coventry facilities. This latest addition reinforces their commitment to precision engineering and ensuring optimal performance across their range of products.

The newly installed drive is capable of seamlessly operating electric motors with power outputs up to and including 75 kW. This enhancement is particularly significant as it allows Savery to gather highly accurate test results from hydraulic equipment. Parameters such as in-service flow rate and noise level, which are crucial for ensuring high performance, can now be precisely measured, and analysed.

“This technology marks a significant step forward in our testing capabilities,” said Adam, Projects Manager at Savery Hydraulics. “It enables us to ensure that our equipment functions precisely as intended, delivering the highest standards of performance and reliability to our customers.”

One of the key advantages of this new technology is its compatibility with various frequency standards. In marine applications, where power supplies typically operate at 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequencies, the Inverter Drive ensures seamless operation and precise testing. Moreover, it proves invaluable in applications involving international shipping, where equipment may operate at frequencies different from the 50 Hz supply commonly used in the UK.

“Our enhanced testing capabilities are a testament to our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of our customers,” added Adam. “Whether it’s marine applications or international shipping, our upgraded facilities ensure that our products meet the stringent performance requirements, regardless of the operating frequency.”

With this latest addition, Savery Hydraulics is poised to set new standards in testing and quality assurance within the industry. The Inverter Drive not only enhances Savery’s ability to deliver superior products but also demonstrates their ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence.
